Dak Prescott Salary: Dak Prescott has signed a four-year, $160 million, $66 million signing bonus, a $125 million guarantee contract with the Dallas Cowboys, and an average annual salary of $40 million. Prescott is set to pay $9 million in base salary, and $66 million in 2021, with a $22,200,000 cap hit and a $95,000,000 death cap. Prescott will earn an average of $40 million a year in the next four seasons when he becomes 28 in July.
Prescott, a fourth-round selection in the 2016 NFL Draft, currently has a higher overall salary than the first two selections, Jared Goff ($33.5 million) of the Rams and Carson Wentz ($32 million) of the Eagles.
Only Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who earns an average of $45 million a year from a 10-year contract signed last summer, earns more than him in all NFL positions. Prescott now earns $1 million more than Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, who is supposed to be traded this offseason.
