Natural Cycles Review: Natural Cycles is a pregnancy tracking app that helps women figure out when they are most likely to become pregnant. After articles questioned the efficacy of Natural Cycles, co-founder Elina Bergling had to find out how to develop and continue to deliver the company’s services. Natural Cycles has 1.5 million users and was the first fertility app to be licenced by the FDA for use as a contraceptive in 2018, allowing it to enter the US market. “We were pushed back from midwives in Sweden to get pregnant,” said Elina Berglund, a former CERN physicist who co-founded the app with her husband.
“That’s the drawback of contraception work. Because there is no contraception at 100%, you always ask “She said, ancies.” “We are very fond of all women who have undesirable pregnancy, but this is what happens unfortunately.”
Even in 2018, Natural Cycles was the first birth control app approved by the FDA as a contraceptive by December of that year. And now Berglund and her husband are in New York as part of an attempt to capitalize on the potentially enormous US market.
