Netherton Foundry Pans Review: Netherton Foundry’s spun iron pan is a non-stick pan for those who hate non-stick pans. Unlike more well-known Teflon, which can peel or scratch after a year, the surface of the spun iron pan becomes more non-stick over time. Year after year, you’re going to build a patina of cooking memories that you can pass through the generations – along with the pan! Use this 12-inch pan to make omelettes, sear steaks or cook a full English breakfast. Made from Netherton Foundry’s signature spun iron, the frying pan is lighter than cast iron, but still has the desired non-stick, patina-building quality and durability. Suitable for all cooking surfaces including induction hob, frying pan heat.
Suitable for all cooking surfaces, including induction hob, the frying pan heats quickly and cools quickly. It comes pre-seasoned, too, so you can start cooking right away. This pan is completely metal, so it’s suitable for use in the oven – just remember to use the oven gloves before taking the handle!
Wash the pan with hot water before the first use. Please do not use soap or detergent. Dry immediately with a towel, as leaving the air dry increases the chance of rusting. If you need to scrub, use a plastic brush in hot soapy water, but avoid getting tougher. Evite detergents completely. The Netherton Foundry is a family-owned company based in Shropshire.
