Silk and sonder review: When you call it, a planner sells it briefly. Each booklet with a theme only takes a month. It lasts only one month. June 2020 was the “choice” and she says in her introduction that users were chosen to recall that “you just have the power to determine how you react, modify, and continue whatever happens in the world.” You will also be motivated by several other activities in addition to the regular monthly calendar where there is plenty of room to list each day each weekly page.
As much as I value a classical to-do list, I have been psyched for the month ahead by the little activities that have taken on the first third of the booklet—and have helped me stop and think about what I was really looking for that month, instead of being stuck in the head down, daily grind of the existing booklet.
It was difficult for me to spend 20 dollars on a plan, let alone 20 dollars a month. This is more of a magazine-meets-motivating-guide-meets-organizer than a conventional planner, with a box that’s surprising and delightful. Still, however. Even if you save 79 dollars with an annual subscription, that is 160 dollars annually.
